Shades of Incoherence brings together three recent Chelsea graduates, Rebecca Bergese, Dominicque Eberhard and Suzanne Page; each working within their chosen medium explores the territory that lies beyond logic and reason at the periphery of our everyday lives.
As we speed through our daily lives our nagging instinct to enquire more deeply is disregarded and held at bay by our ever demanding ‘to do list’.
Bergese’s complex collages, paintings and drawings tugs at our unconscious memories through material and texture, Eberhard’s displacement of objects reminiscent of our environment unsettles the notion of the familiar and Page subjects our communications and interactions to interrogation and exploitation.
